JUAN DEL ENZINA (1468-1529) fue un poeta y músico español que trabajó en la época de los Reyes Católicos. Destacó por sus obras polifónicas tanto religiosas como profanas. Destacan sus obras 'Ay, triste que vengo' y 'Más vale trocar'.

1. Search for information on the historical and social context of the time in which Juan del Enzina worked. (Criteria Ai, Aii)
2. Students will investigate the context, style, and characteristics of Renaissance music in relation to the statement of inquiry. (Ai)
3. Students will document the exploration of deciding which accompaniment patterns would work best in the context of the song. Audio recordings will be included. It is advised that each new section have a different backing pattern. (Bi)
4. Students will perform a final performance in class. (C)
5. Students will evaluate their own performance considering the extent to which it has fulfilled the artistic intent and the effect on the audience. (Di)

A través de esta tarea los alumnos se han organizado en grupo, se han repartido las voces y han seleccionado los instrumentos que querían emplear. Además, deben crear una línea rítmica para interpretar con un instrumento de percusión de afinación indeterminada.

Students of MYP2 organized themselves in groups in order to prepare the performance task. In this Unit of Inquiry, the students learn about the universal language of music and discover music from different parts of the world such as: 'Kokoleoko' from Ghana and Huahuanacá from Bolivia.

A continuación os dejo la partitura para flauta dulce con dos temas de la banda sonora de la película 'El señor de los anillos', compuesta por Howard Shore. 

Como sabéis, la banda sonora tiene muchísima importancia en una película, como así sucede en el 'Señor de los anillos', cuya música, de gran belleza, es indispensable para recrear el mundo mágico de Tolkien.
